The Little Gym® United Kingdom may collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:

Subscribing to our products and services

The Little Gym® United Kingdom provides the following products and services: book an introductory visit, enrol a child in one of our products or services (class or camp), book a birthday party or participate to one of our local events.


If you wish to book an introductory visit, enrol your child in one of our products or services or book a birthday party, you may do so: (i) in person at your local The Little Gym® unit; or (ii) by selecting a local The Little Gym® unit and using the online form which includes personal information such as your name, first name, first and last names and ages of your child, post code, contact information and, when required, medical data and opt-in to promotional electronic communications, and your consent to process them.

The local The Little Gym® units are independently owned and operated by a franchisee. TLGUK and the franchisee may retain your personal data
to further contact you about your subscribed products or services. The data that we process are needed for the performance of the contract that you conclude with us. We base these data processing operations on our contractual relation.

We also use this data internally to perform reporting, statistics and analyses to better manage and enhance the quality of our products and services. We base these data processing operations on our legitimate interest.

We keep this data as long as needed for the provision of the products and services and to perform our financial, accounting obligations and other legal obligations. We keep your data for five (5) years after the end of the products and services or your last interaction with TLGUK to perform analyses and prospection actions in accordance with the Data Protection Rules.

We work with service providers located in Europe and the United States of America. We have followed the applicable required Data Protection Rules: we have concluded the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with our American providers. These guarantees provide an adequate protection of your data and enable you to exercise your rights even in the United States of America.

We keep your data for five (5) years after the end of the products and services or your last interaction with TLGUK. If you have not attended or purchased our products and services or had any contact with TLGUK for five (5) years, your data will no longer be identifiable in our databases.

We work with service providers located in Europe and the United States of America. Recruiting employees

If you’re interested in working at The Little Gym® United Kingdom or within a local The Little Gym® unit, you may send your CV to TLGUK or to any franchisee by submitting the “Join the team” form on the “Contact Us” page located on each local website of our Site.

We base these data processing operations on our legitimate interest to receive applications for vacancies in our company or on you explicit, prior consent.

If you send your CV to TLGUK, it may share your CV with franchisees located near you, but it will not rent, sell, or otherwise disclose the personal information from your CV to any other third party.

TLC and its franchisees receiving your CV will process it according to the Data Protection Rules. They will keep it for one (1) year if they do not hire you. If they hire you, they will keep your information during your employment period and for seven (7) years after the end of your employment or according to their legal obligation to keep personnel related data.

If you wish to share your personal information with TLGUK through the online form, the information you will fill out will be collected by TLGUK. We may later send you an email that collects additional information, including financial information such as an estimate of your available liquid capital and approximate net worth.

We base these data processing operations on our legitimate interest to further expand our franchise network or on your explicit, prior consent.

We do not hold your data and information if you are not selected as a candidate on becoming a franchisee. We keep your data and information as a selected candidate for two (2) years after your last interaction with TLGUK in the case you have not become a TLGUK franchisee. We retain your information and data as a selected candidate having signed a franchise agreement with TLGUK as long as needed for the provision of the contract and to perform our financial, accounting and other legal obligations.

TLGUK will not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose the information you provide without first obtaining your consent. However, if you are an employee of a current TLGUK franchisee, we may communicate the fact of your application to your current employer.


How we protect your information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. We have implemented organisational and technical measures to secure your data. We also have requested the technical service providers (which are hosting, maintaining or managing the data) we are working with to protect your data.

If you send a copy of your identity (“ID”) card or international passport to prove your identity, we recommend that you hide the card number and your picture. In addition to that, please mention on the copy that it may only be used by The Little Gym® Europe or your local The Little Gym® unit.

Right to object to the use of your data for direct marketing purposes

At any time you can withdraw the consent you gave us to receive electronic promotional communication. You can do this by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any newsletter you will receive (i.e. your local The Little Gym® unit newsletter). You can also ask your local The Little Gym® unit to register your unsubscription.
